G17 Lower Parts Kit Overview

The G17 Lower Parts Kit provides all the frame internals needed to complete your full-size 9mm Glock-compatible build. Every component is machined to precise specifications and tested for reliable function across the full range of Gen 3 Glock 17 platforms—from 3D printed frames like the DD17.2 to 80% builds and OEM frames.

This complete LPK includes trigger assembly, slide stop, slide lock with spring, magazine catch with spring, all frame pins, and the trigger housing with ejector installed. Drop-in installation on compatible frames with no fitting required. One kit, one purchase, everything you need for the lower half of your full-size build.

What Makes This G17 Lower Parts Kit Different

Tested Across Multiple Platforms
This parts kit has been validated across the platforms builders actually use. Compatible with 3D printed Glock 17 frames (DD17.2, FMDA variants, and remixes), Polymer80 PF940v2, Geisler Defence full-size frames, and OEM Glock 17 Gen 1-3 frames. Whether you’re finishing a printed frame or rebuilding an existing pistol, this kit delivers consistent results.

Quality Components Throughout
Every part is manufactured to match OEM specifications. The trigger bar, connector, and trigger housing are machined for smooth, consistent operation. Springs are properly heat-treated for reliable tension over thousands of cycles. Pins are precision-ground for proper fit without excessive force during installation.

Ejector Pre-Installed
The trigger housing comes with the ejector already installed and properly staked. No additional parts to source, no assembly required on the housing itself. Drop it into your frame and move on to the next step.

G17 Lower Parts Kit FAQ

What frames are compatible with this G17 Lower Parts Kit?

This LPK is compatible with all Gen 3 Glock 17 pattern frames including: 3D printed frames (FMDA DD17.2 and remixes), Polymer80 PF940v2, Geisler Defence full-size frames, and OEM Glock 17 Gen 1-3 frames. Any frame designed for Gen 3 G17 internals will work with this kit.

Does this kit include a locking block?

No. This is a lower parts kit only—it does not include a locking block. Locking blocks are frame-specific and should be purchased separately based on your particular frame’s requirements. 3D printed frames typically require a specific locking block designed for that frame.

What’s the difference between the G17 and G19 lower parts kits?

The primary difference is the slide stop lever—the G17 uses a full-size slide stop while the G19 uses a compact version. Most other components are interchangeable between the two, but using the correct slide stop for your frame size ensures proper function.

Is this kit compatible with Glock 22 (.40 S&W) builds?

Yes. The G17 and G22 share the same lower parts kit. If you’re building a full-size .40 S&W pistol using a Glock 22 slide and barrel, this LPK will work. The DD17.2 frame is also explicitly compatible with G22 uppers.

Will this work with the Glock 34?

Yes. The Glock 34 uses the same lower parts as the Glock 17. This LPK is compatible with G34 builds on any Gen 3 full-size frame.

What ejector is installed in the trigger housing?

The trigger housing comes with a 9mm ejector installed. This is the correct ejector for all 9mm full-size builds (G17/G34 pattern). For .40 S&W builds, verify ejector compatibility with your specific slide.

Does this kit require any fitting or modification?

On properly finished frames, this kit should install without fitting. Some 3D printed frames may require minor cleanup of pin holes or trigger housing pocket depending on print quality and tolerances. Quality frames from known designs (DD17.2, etc.) typically accept this kit with no modifications.

What’s the trigger pull weight?

This kit includes a standard 5.5lb connector, which produces a trigger pull in the 5-6lb range depending on your specific build. Aftermarket connectors can be substituted if you prefer a lighter or heavier pull.

Are these OEM Glock parts?

No. This is an aftermarket lower parts kit manufactured to OEM specifications. All components are machined to match factory dimensions and tolerances for reliable function in Glock-compatible frames.
